Ana Sousa is a Clinical Psychologist with over 18 years of professional experience. She holds a degree in Psychology from Universidade Lusófona in Lisbon and has been a licensed member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association (Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses – OPP, Member No. 11455) since 2005.

She completed her professional internship at the Institute of Social Reintegration within the Ministry of Justice, gaining solid experience in clinical, social, and institutional contexts. Since 2007, she has been working in private practice, currently providing psychological consultations in Lisbon (Campo Pequeno) and Massamá (Sintra).

Throughout her career, Ana has collaborated with several social and community organisations, including the Guinean Association of Social Solidarity and the Association for Culture, Development, and Integration, working with diverse populations and clinical presentations.

She has undertaken postgraduate training in cognitive and behavioural therapies and has demonstrated a longstanding interest in human behaviour, emotional development, and mental health since adolescence. Her clinical practice is guided by ethical principles, scientific grounding, and a person-centred approach.

At InnerHarmony Academy, she serves as a trainer, delivering courses focused on family and relational dynamics, which she approaches through an eclectic and integrative perspective that respectfully incorporates spirituality, while remaining firmly grounded in ethical and evidence-based psychological practice.
