Dr Grzegorz (Greg) Wiśniewski is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 30 years of clinical experience across hospital and specialist psychiatric services. He has worked within the NHS (UK Public Health Services) for the past 20 years, providing assessment and treatment across a wide range of complex mental health conditions within secondary and tertiary care settings.

He holds Specialist Registration in General Psychiatry with the General Medical Council (GMC) and is a Specialist Associate of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is also a member of the British Association of Psychopharmacology.

Dr Wiśniewski has extensive expertise in the psychopharmacological treatment of mood disorders. During his career, he worked within the Regional Affective Disorders Service (RADS), one of the limited tertiary-level specialist services in the UK dedicated to the management of complex and treatment-resistant depression and bipolar disorder. His clinical approach integrates evidence-based pharmacotherapy with comprehensive psychiatric assessment and long-term treatment planning.

He holds a PhD based on research into antidepressant treatment and has published in international peer-reviewed psychiatric journals. He is also a co-author of the book Understanding Depression: A Translational Approach, published by Oxford University Press, reflecting his commitment to translating scientific research into clinical practice.

In addition to mood disorders, Dr Wiśniewski has specialist experience in sleep disorders, neuropsychiatric conditions including post-stroke depression, psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). His work has included clinical practice within a specialist sleep clinic, participation in international research on hypnotic medications, and research activity within an EEG laboratory setting.

At InnerHarmony Academy, Dr Wiśniewski contributes as a Consultant Psychiatrist and Academic Contributor, supporting the scientific and clinical development of training programmes related to psychiatry, psychopharmacology, mood disorders, and sleep medicine.
